The AP photo below was from yesterday afternoon's Braves-Marlins game at Dolphins Stadium. The question I have is: why did the guy stay in this particular seat?

He had just soiled himself from the excitement of the game, and couldn't bare the embarrassment of trying to scurry to the bathroom in front of the 599 others in attendance?

The seat had a broken hinge and was the only one in the area where the seat portion was down, so he assumed all the rest in the area were reserved because they were all in their normal upright position.

He just likes his elbow room. Or, like me, he hates having to stand up 14 times an inning for people going to or from their seats.
