The Los Angeles Dodgers won their first NL West title since 2004 after the Arizona Diamondbacks lost to the Cardinals in St. Louis 12-3. The Dodgers will be the #3 seed in the NL and will open the playoffs in either Chicago, Philadelphia, or New York.

Yup, this was all about Torre. No other manager could possibly have managed to win a division with 3 of the worse teams in baseball lumped together and the frontrunners playing on a 90 win pace after May 16th.
