New uniforms for the Royals
2006-01-27 19:27
by Bob Timmermann

The Royals have tweaked their uniforms for 2006. You can see them here.

The changes aren't big, but the Royals will no longer have sleeveless uniforms. I want a Paul Bako!

The powder blue unis of the 1970s aren't quite back yet though.

Fantastic improvement! They've eliminated vests completely and limited their use of black to an alternate road jersey (no more blue and black caps!). Brought back the crown logo, used some nice blue piping and gone script on the aways.

Now for the Reds . . .

Black uniforms in baseball are a blight on humanity.

The only teams who should be allowed to wear black uniforms are, oddly enough, the White Sox!

Don't forget the Giants and Pirates.
