New Reds GM, in addition to firing interim GM Brad Kullman, signed Timo Perez to a minor-league contract.

A new era dawns in the Queen City! Timo will lead the Reds back to the Promised Land!

Timo does have more World Series rings than Hee Seop Choi, Jeff Kent, or any other LA Dodger this side of Brad Penny and all the Red Sox exiles...I think he even got in a game to earn it Canseco-style too right?

Timo was 0 for 1 in the World Series. In 6 World Series games, he's 2 for 17.

And do any of the current Reds have that oh so valuable Postseason Experience?

No seriously, I can only think of Griffey and the years his Mariners scrubbed out, who else do they have that has even seen the playoffs?

Looking at the 40-man roster there is:
Eric Milton
Chris Hammond
David Weathers
Rick White
Rich Aurilia
Ken Griffey

Let's not judge him on one move. I can't find anything positive to say about Timo Perez, wait, he can play all three outfield positions and 1b, yipee...

If you were a Dodgers fan, you would judge Krivsky on just one move.
