WC 2006: The continuing discussion of the ESPN announcers
2006-07-05 09:36
by Bob Timmermann

Stefan Fatsis in a free online Wall Street Journal article goes on about ESPN's coverage of the 2006 World Cup.

It even has a hedcut of Dave O'Brien. Man, I could die a happy man if I ever saw my face portrayed that way in the WSJ.

The most popular game (in terms of both page visits and comments) for the Griddle about the World Cup was for the USA-Italy match.

Surprisingly, the early round games got more visitors, which I assume was because fewer people were watching them at home or with friends. The second most visited match chat was Germany vs. Poland!
