Sigh, they'll never learn

Headline on ESPN.com

Ham Fighters beat Dragons, knot Japan Series.

If you read the AP story, they use the correct name of the team, the Fighters.

I've almost all but given up on trying anymore; sometimes I figure that even though people know the real name, they just think it's funnier to talk about the "fighting hams" or the "hamsters" or whatever.

Thing is, that shouldn't be happening on an actual REAL news source. ESPN should know better.

Thanks for linking to me. I'm probably going to stay up for all the games this week, even though I can't actually watch. You'd think ESPN could put the Japan Series on... it's not like there's a gigantic 2am-5am viewing market they'd be alienating or anything.
