Picture 4 is most definitely grounded and not in a museum.

King back to orrery?

I had to look up what an orrery was.

That's not an orrery. Picture 4 is a rather prosaic object. It just looks funny. But you've seen a similar machine in other places. And usually a little smaller. The machine depicted makes a lot of noise.

Is it a washing machine?

I first thought that if Ray touched that bottom sphere, he might start looking a little like Don. But that doesn't help me solve the rebus.

Torre might use the device in Picture 4 to encourage Kemp to make better decisions when running the bases.

It is not a washing machine.

Hint: the method of how the machine makes its product is the key.

It's a Van de Graaff generator, I think (thus 7 ).

I was trying to use the word "potential", since he signed a minor league contract, but that doesn't feel quite right, e.g.,

King
back
too,
potentially.

You're getting too fancy with the generator.

There is a particular type of this machine that does perform well in humid conditions.

Sorry, make that "does not perform well".

Ohhhhhh...
It's not alternating current. Of course.

Is that machine in Picture 4 so large because Ray King is so large?

I just liked the picture.

King back to potentially transform some static on the beltway into positive energy.
