Seattle became the first team in the AL and second team overall to be eliminated from playoff contention after Boston beat Baltimore tonight for their 80th win. Seattle has 83 losses.

Bob, are you planning a "last five teams to be eliminated" contest like last year? Because it made the last few weeks of the season that much more exciting.

I have some books I picked up at ALA in June if you need a prize. Sadly, none of them are baseball or sports-related.
