The MLB Official Scoring Star Chamber has upheld the decision of Pittsburgh's Bob Webb to award Pirates third baseman Andy LaRoche a hit in the August 31 game between the Brewers and Pirates. CC Sabathia will have to settle for a one-hit shutout.

The MLB Official Scoring Star Chamber issues press releases, making it the first Star Chamber in recorded history to do so.
