It's official. They won't play all the games this year

There will definitely be one game this year that won't be played.

The rained out game between Oakland and Baltimore from September 6 has been canceled.

The Orioles have already clinched the Baltimore/DC Metro Area championship and Oakland seems to be on its way to winning the Bay Area championship.

There will be prizes award to the teams, but executives from each team have to come to my place to pick them up.

This also means that the A's will now officially finish below .500.

And that they won't finish in a tie for their draft slot, unless they lose the rest of their games, and Baltimore wins all theirs.

Well, it's back to getting my baseball entertainment from an amazing baseball book titled, Pinch Hitter by Dean Whitney.
