When Ozzie wants vengeance, he demands vengeance!

White Sox rookie reliever Sean Tracey was berated by manager Ozzie Guillen after Chicago's 8-0 loss to the Rangers last night for not hitting Hank Blalock with a pitch and instead getting him out.

Guillen was upset that Texas pitcher Vicente Padilla had hit A.J. Pierzynski twice.

Tracey was sent to the minors after the game after Chicago acquired David Riske from Boston.

Why was Guillen so upset? Even Pierzynski's mother would throw at him if she had the chance.

My Lai would have never occurred if everyone in the military were like Tracey.

Why was Guillen so upset?

Because he's an a-hole, pure and simple. Not only did he apparently order a guy thrown at -- which is, unless I'm very, very wrong, completely outside the rules of the game, all macho BS aside -- but then he lit into his rookie pitcher for failing to comply with his illegal instruction. Reprehensible.

Also, I think there should be an "open season on AJ Pierzynski" rule, as long as there are unwritten rules being enforced and all. It's just too bad neither of the pitches hit him in the nether regions.

I like retributive bean balls. And managers who scream at rookies. You know, as long as nobody I like gets hurt.

Really, how can anybody be too upset over any story that includes Pierzynski getting hit twice? The rest is just gravey.
