Orange alert - Player needs double for cycle
Red alert - Player need single for cycle
If a player needs a home run for the cycle, the level of the alert varies depending upon the determination of the Cycle Detection Warning System, which is headquartered in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

MLB.com reports that the Nationals are going to give a minor league contract to Tony Womack.
I would write more, but doctors have told me that the portion of my brain that controls being a wiseass is overloaded and if it is stimulated further, there could be permanent damage that could affect my future ability to be sarcastic. I've been advised to go to a quiet place and just stare at a picture of the stern and reproving face of Jim Bowden.
