A Molina goes on the DL
2007-05-30 13:37
by Bob Timmermann

Today's unlucky catching Molina brother is Yadier, who broke his left wrist last night in Denver and will miss 4-6 weeks.

Brian Esposito, a 28-year old career minor leaguer, was called up from the minors to take Molina's spot and will share time with Gary Bennett.

Bob, has your brother shared anything about La Russa's frame of mind lately? I'm hearing a bit of buzz that he might not even last the season (though he would go out on his own terms, of course).

The mind of Tony La Russa is hard to discern.

He doesn't cover the Cardinals all that often, but he can tell you a lot about the mind of Rick Majerus.

You don't want to go inside there.

3 Doesn't Tony's frame of mind often involve a bit of a buzz?
