Frank Thomas homered in Toronto's 2-0 win over Chicago at Rogers Centre Thursday. Thomas hit his 495th career homer and 243rd as a designated hitter, tying him with Edgar Martinez for the major league record for DHs. Roy Halladay returned from the DL and didn't waste any time as he pitched seven innings in a game that lasted just one hour and 50 minutes. I'll be out of town much of the weekend, but I may check in if something important happens. Like a catcher's interference call! The Random Record of the Week will appear on Tuesday.
