The St. Louis Cardinals brought up Troy Percival from AAA Memphis to help out their beleaguered pitching staff. Percival has not pitched in the majors since July 9, 2005 for the Tigers. Walt Jocketty also has calls in to Greg Cadaret, Pep Harris, and Urbano Lugo.
