The last time I saw the Los Angeles Dodgers win in person was back on September 21, 2006. The Dodgers beat the Pirates 5-2.

Since then, I've attended the following games in person:

  • September 23, 2006 - Arizona 9, Los Angeles 3
  • October 11, 2006 - Nippon Ham 3, Softbank 1 (Game 1 of second round of Pacific League playoffs at Sapporo Dome)
  • October 12, 2006 - Nippon Ham 1, Softbank 0 (Game 2)
  • October 15, 2006 - Yakult 2, Yomiuri 0 (Meiji Jingu Stadium)
  • March 30, 2007 - Angels 13, Dodgers 4 (exhibition)
  • April 30, 2007 - Arizona 9, Los Angeles 1
  • June 3, 2007 - Cubs 10, Atlanta 1 (Wrigley Field)
  • June 10, 2007 - Blue Jays 11, Los Angeles 5
  • June 30, 2007 - San Diego 3, Los Angeles 1 (12 innings)
  • July 27, 2007 - Milwaukee 12, St. Louis 2 (Busch Stadium)
  • July 28, 2007 - St. Louis 5, Milwaukee 2 (2nd game of doubleheader)
  • August 13, 2007 - Houston 4, Los Angeles 1

I'm going back in on Thursday. Wish me luck.

But at what point can I write a series of self-indulgent, self-pitying essays about my team's losing ways and have them published by a big East Coast outfit?

I don't wish you luck. I hope some minor calamity prevents you from reaching the stadium. Stop screwing with my team, Bob!

The Dodgers have been outscored 40-15 during this particular stretch.
