Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting that the deal to send pitcher C.C. Sabathia to Milwaukee in exchange for Matt LaPorta and two other minor leaguers is complete.
Sabathia should start for the Brewers Tuesday in the Cream City against the Rockies.
Cleveland is such a horrible city that it makes Milwaukee seem like heaven on earth.
bob, I know you hate Cleveland and though I've never been, I have been to Cincinnati. Based on my Cinci experience, combined with your recent Cleveland report, I have crossed Ohio off my list of places to ever visit again.
Have you been to Milwaukee? I rate it and Pittsburgh the 2 most underrated cities in America. Milwaukee has done some great stuff to its look over the past 10 years, especially on the Lake Front.
I don't hate Cleveland like you, but with its current economic conditions, it's hard to see how it will ever get any better.
I thought it was a nice place. It was easy to get around. The people were nice. Wisconsin is as a coworker of mine says "In the nice Midwest." Ohio is not in "the nice Midwest."
I liked Pittsburgh when I visited there.
Cleveland and I got off to a bad start and spiraled downward from there.
