The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim clinched the AL West title today as they beat the Yankees 4-2 and then waited for Seattle to knock Texas out of the divisional race with an 8-7 win at Safeco Field. The only race left for the Angels now is with Tampa Bay and Boston to claim the #1 spot and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Angels lost their season series to Tampa Bay 6-3, but won the series against Boston 8-1.

Did the Rangers get a "walk in to the light" announcement? It wasn't announced at Safeco today and I am sure the Rangers are confused about their status?

The Rangers are still alive in the wild card race.

the 5, just north of the Orange Crush (where the 5, 22, and 57 all meet - and about three blocks from Angel Stadium)
