The second stage, which requires four wins, starts on Friday at the Seibu Dome in Tokorazawa. Seibu will only have to win three games though to win the series as the league champion gets a win spotted to them along with homefield advantage. The Fighters have to win four games.
Prediction: The Fighters will come out Friday night with the swagger and the chip on their shoulder and know they can beat these guys and know they're a better team. They believe that and they have to have that in their minds. They have to show no doubt, show that they're not intimidated or fearful.
Really, if the Dodgers and Rays fail to advance, I won't have a rooting interest in the World Series. But it would be pretty cool to explain my allegiances in the Climax Series (is anybody better at naming stuff than the Japanese?) to people.
