Playing these clips concurrently is a wonderful experience.
As a high school sophomore I can remember these events surrounding Gibson as they occured. Lucky me.
I've got a ball signed by Sandy Koufax and Frank Howard. My two all-time favorite players.

Wow-thanks. The interview with Koufax after game 7 vs the Twins was great. He pitched a shutout on 2 days rest.

I have an autographed Koufax ball as well. It's my only autograph and he is by far my favorite player.

I always loved how that curve to finish the 17th strikeout crossed up McCarver (who wouldn't love McCarver getting fooled?) yet still getting the call.
