Mets redo their announcing teams

Out goes Ted Robinson, Ralph Kiner, Dave O'Brien, Matt Loughlin and Tom Seaver and in comes Ron Darling to join survivors Keith Hernandez and Gary Cohen.

No, I'm not helping Keith Hernandez move.

They dumped Kiner? Yikes! Gary Cohen is excellent, although I'm going to miss him on the Mets radio broadcasts.

Kiner is going to be on pregame stuff according to other reports. I don't think his health is up to allowing him to work during a game.

Dropping Tom Seaver will probably go over REAL well with the older crowd of Mets fans. He was Tom Terrific! You can't do that!

Did you ever get the chance to listen to Tom Seaver?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

And the Mets can do no wrong in Seaver's eyes.
Seaver probably can go spend more time at his California winery now.

Seaver is really awful. Every once and a while he mentions something interesting about pitching but the onces are pretty distant from the whiles. And his voice is one of the worst I've ever heard.

The best news is that Healy's gone, the only broadcaster I dislike more than Seaver.

Cohen though is one of the best in the business. We're lucky to have him.
