Hey, I can use that line without any hint of irony or sarcasm regarding the Boston Red Sox GM situation.

Red Sox fans can now look back with fond memories of the Hoyer-Chernington Era.

The change, it didn't come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from Damon, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown on the South Side

I'm a life-long Dodger fan who also roots for the Red Sox, since I lived in New England for 25 years. The Red Sox's off season has been as bizarre as LA's. When DePo was canned, I was hoping Theo might come to LA, but instead we got Neddy. All this front office tomfoolery has been beaten to death over at DT and in the Boston press. I can't remember so much verbiage and controversy dealing with front office personnel in my 49 years as a baseball fan. Perhaps we should just have the GMs play stickball against each other, rather than wasting all that $ on players.
