Coming into Sunday's games, there are two undefeated teams left in the majors:

  • Milwaukee
  • Detroit

Both teams are 5-0 and the 1972 Dolphins are still wondering when they get to drink their champagne.

Chris Shelton of the Tigers leads the majors in:

  • hits (14)
  • triples (2) tied with Steve Finley and Marco Scutaro
  • home runs (5)
  • RBI (9) along with Lance Berkman, Andruw Jones, and Edgar Renteria
  • total bases (35)
  • on base percentage (.727)
  • slugging percentage (1.750)
  • batting average (.700)
  • OPS (2.477)
  • extra base hits (9)

My suggestion for both teams. Declare victory now and get out.

Meanwhile the Pittsburgh Tracys are somehow 5.5 games behind a Brewers squad that has only played 5 games...

Right. And Tracy's failing it.
