Looks to me like the National League has become highly "Centralized". The AL is not quite as "Centralized".
Which is the biggest surprise?
The NL Central is 54-28 at home in April.
The Colorado Rockies have won 10 of 13 road games this year.
The Kansas City Royals are 0-9 on the road.
The Washington Nationals are 1-7 at home.
The Mets are the only NL East team with a winning record at home.
San Francisco is the only NL West team with a winning record at home.
Also you might want to check the spelling of the AL 12-seed. And WHEN did the Yankees sneak back into first place??
NL is definately even more surprising with everyone except the Pirates in on the act .. who woulda though the Cubs could still win after suffering 3 huge injury before the first month is out... Brewers isn't that much of a surprise as we knew they were up and comming, Astros and espically Reds have been abosalutely amazing espically on the Reds part, who woulda thought Arroyo could be this good.. and hitting more HR than the "hitter" Boston traded him for lol!!
NL east is kinda surprising... in that BOTH the braves and Phils is sucking bad, we knew there was a good chance one of them would suck.. but both?
Oh yeah Another funky April record, the Yankees are 10-0 in day games.
