My advice to you is to make sure that if a guy who looks like he is mobbed up offers you money to pay off an auto accident, just take the cash.

Conversely, better to chance the mob's hunting you than to do an honest days work.

I assume that my apostrohpic mishap killed this thread. Sorry Bob.

I don't think it did. I just don't think anyone has finished watching it yet.

Or they hated it.

I didn't hate, but it certainly doesn't make my top 10. The only real events of the episode were Vito heading back to Jersey and Johnny Sack's alocution. The rest was just boring.

Though it was kind of fun to see Bobby take asphalt in the eye.

I think there will be no more johnnycakes in our Sopranos future at least.

Janice is my favorite television character ever. Nothing she does is boring. I don't know how, but I know she will be the ruination of Tony. Nobody knows what it's like to be in my head!

I liked the episode. What was not to like? Good Vito storyline, the push-pull of Carmela-Tony and Janice-Tony, and a couple of laugh-out-loud moments. I loved how Meadow's whining triggered the last straw for Tony re: Carmela's spec house.

Grey's Anatomy, on the other hand, except perhaps for the cliffhanger at the end, was something of a disaster. That show seems to give its characters less and less nuance with each passing week, and now has flat-out run out of it.

I thought Katherine Heigl was going to explode.

Tim Goodman of the S.F. Chronicle has a lot of discussion of this episode:
