I wonder if all this fuss about the humidor keeping the runs down was just the cold weather in April. Now that it is heating up its good ol' Coors Field again and an 8-7 game.

This is all a hunch by the way, and carries no scientific analysis.

This game was more a case of Colorado and Arizona having their bullpens melt down.

Webb and Jennings were great.

Right. I was speaking more in general when the purpose of your post was the 13 runs scored in the ninth after a pitchers duel.

I was disappointed to see that Fuentes gave up six runs. The Novelty of left handed closers have always perked my interest. I usually root for them.

I was putting hamburger patties together with Baseball Tonight on the tube this afternoon, and the boys were absolutely amazed and amused by the doings there at Coors.

It was weird in the bottom of the 9th inning how Jeff DaVannon just botched a routine fly ball. I was rooting for Helton to get up and hit a walk-off homerun.

And Jamey Carroll running down to first on ball three. Then he calmly went back to the plate, dug in, and took ball four and then ran back down to first.

7 rofl... one weird game, the Rockies need another arm in their pen... Chin Hui Tsao 's been gone for a year and still having problem returning :(... if he is back he makes a decent middle reliever..he's basically the same as Kyle Farnsworth... high cheese fastball and slider...
