FAQs
What color jersey does the wild card team get?

So I'm going to ride the yellow jersey metaphor for division leaders for the rest of the year until we drop dead of exhaustion.

But what about the team in the lead for the wild card?

What color jersey should I use?

I'm open to suggestions.

I'd say use the red polka-dotted jersey metaphor. Although I'll leave it to you to come up with a connection between "wild card" and "mountain climber".

I think I may go for green, which is given to the points leader. The wild card team is like the points leader in that the team has just done well at certain times, but isn't the best overall.

The Twins moved to within a game of the White Sox and the Yankees are poised to move to a 1/2 game behind.
