Giles gets clean bill of health for his heart
2006-09-04 18:00
by Bob Timmermann

Atlanta Braves second baseman Marcus Giles received some good news in that he doesn't have a heart valve problem. The chest pain that he experienced last week in Philadelphia turned out to be a bad case of acid reflux.

Giles should return to the Braves for the continuation of their series in New York.

Nice to see that Giles is back. I'd hate to see PED side effects, er, acid reflux, derail his season.

If you read the story, Giles has had a long year with numerous health problems involving his children also. Which is why I didn't say anything about their names.

I suffered from some acid reflux recently. I'm sure glad it was diagnosed correctly as acid reflux, and not a heart problem!
