Boston finally acquired George Kottaras from San Diego to complete the David Wells deal. They also brought back Kason Gabbard and Craig Hansen and DFA'd Jermaine Van Buren.
The Cubs brought up Jae Kuk Ryu and Jose Reyes and got Adam Harben from Minnesota to complete the Phil Nevin trade.
The White Sox activated Dustin Hermanson, whom I didn't know was still around to be activated.
Cleveland brought back Fausto Carmona, Jeremy Guthrie, Rafael Perez, Brian Slocum, Franklin Gutierrez, and Juan Lara.
Detroit recalled Brent Clevlen
Florida recalled Paul Hoover, Chris Aguila, Eric Reed, and Jason Wood.
The Mets recalled Lastings Milledge, Dave Williams, Brian Bannister, Kelly Stinnett, Ricky Ledee, and Phillip Humber.
Oakland claimed Jerome Williams off of waivers from the Cubs.
Philadelphia recalled Danny Sandoval, Josh Kroeger
Tampa Bay recalled Shawn Riggins and Juan Salas
Washington activated Felix Rodriguez and recalled Mike O'Connor
There are likely ones I've missed as players are coming and going in bulk. It's sort of like Costco now. I think Wayne Krivsky has a pallet full of middle relievers in a checkout line.
You misspelled "activated" on your second attempt at the word in the White Sox part, but don't feel bad. The current headline on the Astros website: "Aimng to even series, Astros turn to Pettitte"
Too bad the Dodgers did not put in a claim for Jerome Williams. He has been with a few organizations, but every time I have seen him pitch he has been impressive. Maybe Beane should pay him the minimum wage and then pay me the minimum wage to watch him pitch.
