Francisco Liriano has been activated from the disabled list by the Twins and he should pitch Wednesday at home against Oakland.

Andy Pettitte sprained an ankle shagging fly balls Sunday and won't start tonight against the Cardinals. Taylor Buchholz will start instead.

Mariano Rivera won't throw for another week.
