Pat Dobson, one of the quartet of Orioles pitchers who won 20 games in 1971 along with Jim Palmer, Dave McNally, and Mike Cuellar, died unexpectedly at age 64 in the San Diego area. No details of the cause of death were released. According to USA Today, Dobson died one day after being diagnosed with leukemia.
