For the three games at Miller Field in Milwaukee between the Angels and Indians, there have been about 10,000 tickets sold already. All tickets for the series are $10 and they are all good seats as the Brewers want to fill up the field level first and then only sell the loge if necessary. I would expect the fans there to be young and probably drunk.

When the Marlins had to play the Expos for two games in Chicago on September 13 and 14, 2004, the crowds were 4,003 and 5,457 at U.S. Cellular Field.

There is no truth to rumors that Arte Moreno is trying to figure out a way to add Milwaukee to his team's name.

I'm guessing that's more than they would have drawn in either Florida or Montreal

I attended the second of those Comiskular games in 2004 (before driving the same day to see Barry Bonds go for 700 at Miller), and they were weekday games, albeit in nice September weather. I'm planning on going up on Wednesday, so hopefully they don't get TOO many more fans. And hire enough people to work concessions. (Beer + Brats = Good)

The Marlins played the last three games ever in Montreal.

They drew 3923, 5416, and 31,395 for the finale.

The last at-bat in Montreal was Terrmel Sledge of the Expos popping out against Rudy Seanez of the Marlins. Mike Mordecai recorded the final out.

The last hit in Montreal was an 8th inning single by Juan Pierre of the Marlins. The last Expos hit was a 7th inning single by Juan Rivera.

3 So you're saying it would not be a false statement to write, "Juan Pierre got a hit, and then, there was no more baseball in Montreal."

4 Plus, Seanez got someone out. It truly was the end of days in Montreal.
