Also looks like Andy MacPhail is in with Baltimore as well (as COO?). Anything that gets Angelos further away from baseball decisions has to be a good thing for O's fans.

Does Baltimore still employ the two-headed monster of Flanagan and Duquette in the front office? Lotta chefs in that kitchen...

2 And the clubhouse, for that matter. Davey Johnson would want to come back to this??

The usual suspects are Johnson, Girardi, Jerry Manuel, Buck Martinez, and possibly the Ghost of Hank Bauer.

So are the Orioles going to be able to fire Peter Angelos?

Dusty Baker is another possible candidate.

I cannot, can not, understand how Perlozzo kept his job after his entire team gave up on him at the end of the 2005 season. The only thought I have is that he was retained to bring Mazzone in as pitching coach, but at what price. And now that even being Mazzone's buddy isn't enough to keep Perlozzo employed, what happens to Mazzone? Does he stick around in Baltimore? Try to get back with Bobby Cox in Atlanta? Hang 'em up? Or become the most highly sought after free agent pitching coach ever?

Yes, we have been in a crappy situation for years let's get a guy that used to be in the Cubs front office.
