Why you should short your stock in the Milwaukee Brewers

Plays like this make me think that the Milwaukee Brewers are doomed:
K. Griffey Jr. reached on fielder's choice, J. Keppinger to second on third baseman R. Braun's throwing error, K. Griffey Jr. and J. Keppinger scored on right fielder G. Gross' throwing error
Didn't the Brewer nosedive start right around the same time as a certain MLB commissioner decided he could not be bothered to go watch a record held by a onetime Brewer, be broken?
Or are the Baseball Gods not nearly that spiteful....as far as we know?
3 and that commisioner was the owner of the Brewer too ...
but ouch, so it was Griffey on first , Keppinger hits a ball in the infield.. and the Brewer messed it up so bad that Keppinger essentailly had a inside the park HR on a infield grounder?
Keppinger grounded to Braun at third, who tried to force Griffey at second, but threw the ball late and wide and into right field. Gross then threw the ball away trying to get Griffey at third.
