Logan White seems a better fit for the Pirate job then Houston.

I won't believe it until GobiasIndustries posts it over on DT.

Maybe DePo would like to be reunited with his old manager.

"Littlefield's failure to protect some top prospects and keep marginal ones led the Pirates to lose five of the top six picks in the 2005 winter-meeting draft, resulting in audible laughter in the New Orleans hotel meeting room."

6 I just looked at that draft and that story is just wrong, Pittsburgh had two players selected in the 3rd and 4th round of the minor league portion of that draft.

The Dodgers had two players selected in the MLB portion.

They just got the date wrong. The Pirates' rule five draft distaster happened in 2003.

Now every time I hear about a new GM opening, I start to panic. More opportunities to lose Logan White.
